The Show Must Go On fue una canción que Brian May compuso para Freddie Mercury, cuando éste vivía los mas duros de sus últimos días padeciendo el sida. En esta canción se muestra como es la vida de un artista, que a pesar del dolor que pueda sentir en su cuerpo o su corazón, éste se debe entregar al público al máximo como si nada estuviera ocurriendo. Es considerada una de las canciones mas potentes y emotivas de la banda.
Elegí esta canción por que es tremenda musicalmente y porque me he sentido identificado con ella en muchas ocasiones, en las cuales mi corazón se ha encontrado destrozado, pero sin embargo, he seguido haciendo todo mi esfuerzo por ser una buena persona, un buen hijo, buen hermano, buen tio, buen estudiante, un buen amigo. Gracias Queen y gracias Freddie Mercury por sus hermosas canciones, llenas de tremendas frases melódicas y de emotivos mensajes. Son un verdadero ejemplo.
